This home sits right on the Atlantic Ocean and is minutes away from Boothbay Harbor, rich with history and offering lots of quaint local shops and boutiques, delicious dining, and world-class boat excursions, this is sure to be a vacation to remember! 

Good for one week and must be used by the end of Summer 2021. Winner must coordinate with the owner for available dates. 

Mrs. Johnson steps down for the day and your child or children (siblings only) assumes the reins as Head of School. This is your child’s chance to revolutionize life at Barnesville -- at least for a day!

We have a great crop of beautiful lambs this Spring on Shepherd’s Hey Farm, and one of them could be yours! 

Option 1: Live Lamb! Very cute and easy to keep. We will help you choose the most appropriate pet from several of our ram lambs (will be neutered as neutered males, or wethers, are the easiest to handle and make the best pets). Our sheep are bred to produce the highest quality wool for hand-spinning, and most are natural colored. 

Option 2: Fresh local lamb for your freezer! We will keep it for you until it’s ready for butcher. You choose how you want it cut (we can help you with this-chops, rib roasts, boneless legs, bone-in, etc.), and then we’ll call you when it’s ready for delivery (vacuum sealed and frozen) in October or November (approximately 30-40 lbs).

Spend an afternoon fishing with your friends (up to six children) at the Johnson family’s fully stocked Joy Springs Pond in Boyds, Maryland. Create your own old-fashioned bamboo fishing pole and have fun catching sunfish and maybe a bass or two. Date to be mutually agreed upon.

Here's your chance to own an original piece by Barnesville alumni parent, Board Trustee, and renowned bronze sculptor, Walter Matia! This bronze wall mount is 39.5"H x 15"W x 11"D and is a piece to treasure. Walter describes his work as follows, "Doves in Corn is a fall tradition. This piece is part of a series of works that I have designed around the seasonal changes and the beauty of the drying corn stalks.  Whether hunter, bird watcher or casual hiker, the smell of drying leaves and the whistle of dove wings is a joy for all your senses."

Walter began casting bronze sculptures in 1980. Initially, he concentrated on bird life, over the years he has worked on sporting dogs and other mammals. In 1987 he began a series of large fountain and garden pieces. In 1989 the Blair House Restoration Committee placed one of his fountains in the formal garden of the United States President’s Guest House. To complement the fountain, Walter produced a bronze wall frieze for the Blair House in 1992. 

Walter's works have been exhibited in one man shows at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. He is a regular participant of the Society of Animal Artists; National Sculpture Society; Masters of the American West; Coors Western Art and the Prix de West Invitational. Walter is a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society, a Master Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists and a Master Wildlife Artist at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. He has received the National Sculpture Society Gold Medal Award; the Bronze Medal Award Pietro & Alfriedo Montana Memorial Prize; the Society of Animal Artists Leo J. Meiselman Award; the Prix de West Fraser Sculpture Award; the Masters of the American West, Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation Sculpture Award and James R Parker Trustee Purchase Award.
